00:00.000 --> 00:07.400
Hello, little friends.

00:07.400 --> 00:10.640
Look at this big tree.

00:10.640 --> 00:12.240
A tree is tall.

00:12.240 --> 00:15.280
It is taller than you.

00:15.280 --> 00:17.120
Now here is a bush.

00:17.120 --> 00:20.280
A bush is just your size.

00:20.280 --> 00:22.400
And look at the grass.

00:22.400 --> 00:24.720
Grass is shorter than you.

00:24.720 --> 00:27.800
Let us learn the parts of a plant.

00:27.800 --> 00:32.240
Plants have leaves that sway in the wind.

00:32.240 --> 00:38.160
They have strong trunks or stems to stand tall.

00:38.160 --> 00:44.760
Some plants grow pretty flowers that butterflies and bees love.

00:44.760 --> 00:50.240
Some give us tasty fruits and vegetables to eat.

00:50.240 --> 00:56.200
And under the ground, they have roots to drink water.

00:56.200 --> 00:58.120
Plants are very important.

00:58.120 --> 01:03.080
They give us cool shade to rest under when it is sunny.

01:03.080 --> 01:06.080
They give us fresh air to breathe.

01:06.080 --> 01:08.440
And do you know what else?

01:08.440 --> 01:11.400
Trees give us wood to make furniture and paper.

01:11.400 --> 01:15.320
Plants give us so much, so let us be kind to them.

01:15.320 --> 01:18.280
Remember, never hurt a plant.

01:18.280 --> 01:21.160
Let us take care of them, just like they take care of us.
