WEBVTT

00:00.000 --> 00:11.440
Hi, little friends. Have you ever wondered who helps us every day? Let us meet some of our

00:11.440 --> 00:20.920
community helpers and see what they do. This is a doctor. Doctors help us feel better

00:20.920 --> 00:28.120
when we are sick. They check our health and give us medicine to make us strong and healthy.

00:28.120 --> 00:34.520
This is a teacher. Teachers help us learn new things like different seasons, animals

00:34.520 --> 00:43.640
and counting. They make learning fun. Look, a firefighter. They are so brave. They put

00:43.640 --> 00:51.520
out fires and rescue people in trouble. This is a police officer. They catch thieves

00:51.520 --> 01:01.880
and help us when we need them. This is a bus driver. They drive us safely to school

01:01.880 --> 01:11.200
and back home. Here is a garbage collector. They work hard to keep our homes and streets clean

01:11.200 --> 01:21.400
and our town fresh. This is a farmer. Farmers grow the delicious food we eat like fruits,

01:21.400 --> 01:32.600
vegetables and grains. This is a carpenter. They make things with wood like chairs, tables

01:32.600 --> 01:41.920
and doors. This is a mailman. They bring us letters, postcards and packages from far

01:41.920 --> 01:53.800
away places. And here is a mechanic. They fix cars, bikes and trucks to keep them running

01:53.800 --> 02:02.040
smoothly. Wow, so many helpers in our community. They work hard to keep us safe, healthy and

02:02.040 --> 02:04.760
happy. Let's say a big thank you to them.
