00:00.000 --> 00:04.000
Governance and global cooperation.

00:04.000 --> 00:09.000
High class, do you know why we have rules in school?

00:09.000 --> 00:13.000
Rules help keep things fair and safe.

00:13.000 --> 00:20.000
Countries also have rules and leaders to make decisions, and this is called governance.

00:20.000 --> 00:26.000
When countries work together to solve big problems, it's called global cooperation.

00:26.000 --> 00:31.000
Global cooperation is when countries work as a team to solve problems,

00:31.000 --> 00:38.000
like protecting the environment, helping during disasters, or fighting diseases.

00:38.000 --> 00:43.000
For example, in 2023, after powerful earthquake struck Turkey in Syria,

00:43.000 --> 00:47.000
many countries around the world worked together to help.

00:47.000 --> 00:52.000
The United Nations, UN, helped coordinate this support.

00:52.000 --> 01:00.000
Countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India, Kuwait, Pakistan, Germany,

01:00.000 --> 01:08.000
the United States, and France, sent rescue teams, medical supplies, and food to help people in need.

01:08.000 --> 01:12.000
This shows how teamwork saves lives.

01:12.000 --> 01:15.000
There are groups that help countries work together.

01:15.000 --> 01:18.000
These are called international organizations.

01:18.000 --> 01:21.000
Let's have a look at some of them.

01:21.000 --> 01:27.000
The United Nations, UN, helps keep peace and solve big problems.

01:27.000 --> 01:34.000
The World Health Organization, WHO, helps countries fight diseases and stay healthy.

01:34.000 --> 01:40.000
The World Trade Organization, WTO, makes sure countries trade fairly.

01:40.000 --> 01:45.000
UNICEF helps children stay safe, healthy, and get an education.

01:46.000 --> 01:53.000
The UAE is part of these groups and works with other countries to solve global challenges.

01:53.000 --> 02:03.000
The UAE helps people all over the world by sending food, medicine, and shelter when there are big problems like earthquakes or floods.

02:03.000 --> 02:11.000
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the UAE gave vaccines and medical supplies to more than 135 countries.

02:11.000 --> 02:15.000
It even built special hospitals to help people who are very sick.

02:15.000 --> 02:22.000
The UAE also uses clean energy like sunlight and wind to help keep our Earth healthy.

02:22.000 --> 02:27.000
When countries work together, they make the world safer and stronger.

02:27.000 --> 02:32.000
This shows how teamwork can solve problems, build trust, and create a better future.

02:32.000 --> 02:36.000
Remember, together, we can do more.
