00:00.000 --> 00:19.000
In this video you'll learn to use the Learning Gaps Report. The report that turns a score into a specific list of things students have not yet learned, ranked by how serious each one is.

00:20.000 --> 00:26.000
Click Report, then Open Learning Gaps. Set your from and to periods and a subject.

00:26.000 --> 00:34.000
Three views are available. Infographic for reading, table for working and print or PDF for sharing.

00:34.000 --> 00:44.000
Six measures. Learning Gap percentage, cohort mastery, the count of critical, high and moderate strands, and how many students are in gaps.

00:44.000 --> 00:51.000
At a glance states what the report found in plain language, including how many skills carry meaningful gaps.

00:51.000 --> 00:56.000
The severity definitions are on screen and worth memorizing.

00:56.000 --> 01:09.000
Critical means a gap above 50% or mastery below 40. High is a gap of 35 to 49% or mastery below 60. Moderate is a watch gap.

01:09.000 --> 01:18.000
These thresholds mean prioritization isn't a judgment call. Critical strands are re-teaching. Moderate strands are monitoring.

01:18.000 --> 01:29.000
The severity mix shows how your gaps distribute across the three levels. The he-map shows the top strands, so you can see whether gaps cluster in one area or scatter across many.

01:29.000 --> 01:37.000
Below each gap gets a card explaining it in plain language and suggesting practical next steps for the classroom.

01:37.000 --> 01:47.000
Open full gap table for the complete matrix with student drill down. Export to CSV to work with the list outside the platform or to share it with schools.

01:47.000 --> 01:57.000
Note the recommendation a send makes include questions on the top gap skills in your next assessment, so you can see whether re-teaching actually made a difference.

01:57.000 --> 02:07.000
That's the whole point. A gap identified and never re-measured is an opinion. A gap identified re-taught and re-measured is evidence.
