00:00.000 --> 00:09.400
Hello friends, we're going to meet some amazing people who help make our community a safe

00:09.400 --> 00:11.000
and happy place.

00:11.000 --> 00:13.200
We call them community helpers.

00:13.200 --> 00:18.400
They're everyday heroes who have important jobs.

00:18.400 --> 00:21.200
Let's meet some of our community helpers.

00:21.200 --> 00:23.400
Doctors are there to help us when we feel sick.

00:23.400 --> 00:25.200
They make sure we're healthy.

00:25.200 --> 00:28.600
Police officers keep us safe and help us when we need it.

00:28.600 --> 00:32.600
Firefighters are always ready to put out fires and keep us safe.

00:32.600 --> 00:35.600
Sanitation workers make sure our city is clean.

00:35.600 --> 00:38.600
They collect the trash and keep our streets nice.

00:38.600 --> 00:43.600
And teachers are there to help us learn new things every day.

00:43.600 --> 00:46.600
Each community helper has a special place where they work.

00:46.600 --> 00:48.600
Doctors work at hospitals.

00:48.600 --> 00:50.600
Teachers work at schools.

00:50.600 --> 00:53.600
And firefighters are ready at the fire station.

00:53.600 --> 00:57.600
Knowing where they work can make it easy for us to find them when we need their help.

00:58.600 --> 01:02.600
We can also help our community helpers.

01:02.600 --> 01:07.600
But following rules, staying safe and being respectful,

01:07.600 --> 01:09.600
we make their jobs easier.

01:09.600 --> 01:11.600
It's like teamwork.

01:11.600 --> 01:16.600
It's important to show gratitude and respect to our community helpers.

01:16.600 --> 01:22.600
We can say thank you, give them a smile, or even make them a thank you card.

01:22.600 --> 01:25.600
It's our way of saying we appreciate them.

01:26.600 --> 01:29.600
Community helpers do so much for us every day.

01:29.600 --> 01:34.600
So let's always remember to thank our community helpers and show them kindness.
