00:00.000 --> 00:11.840
Hi everyone we're going to talk about something super important water water is

00:11.840 --> 00:17.780
everywhere in rivers lakes and even in the air but did you know that not all

00:17.780 --> 00:22.940
places in the world have enough water that makes it super precious just like

00:22.940 --> 00:28.460
gold in some places like Saudi Arabia water is really hard to find because most

00:28.460 --> 00:33.260
of the land is desert but guess what people there have found smart ways to

00:33.260 --> 00:39.820
save and use water wisely let's start with farms plants need water to grow

00:39.820 --> 00:45.500
right in Saudi Arabia farmers use something called drip irrigation it's like

00:45.500 --> 00:50.780
tiny water pipes that give plants just the right amount of water cool huh this

00:50.780 --> 00:57.740
way we don't waste even a single drop next let's visit the city most of the

00:57.740 --> 01:03.500
water here comes from the sea but wait can people drink salty sea water no way

01:03.500 --> 01:08.660
that's where something called desalination helps it's a big word but it just

01:08.660 --> 01:13.900
means taking the salt out of the water so we can use it at home we can save

01:13.900 --> 01:18.740
water too always turn off the tap when you're not using it and fix any leaks

01:18.740 --> 01:24.860
little changes like this can save a lot of water whether it's for farming

01:24.860 --> 01:31.060
cities or homes saving water is super important it helps people animals and

01:31.060 --> 01:38.580
plants survive even in dry places remember every drop counts
