WEBVTT

00:00.000 --> 00:02.000
Governance and global cooperation.

00:04.000 --> 00:05.000
High class.

00:06.000 --> 00:08.000
Do you know why we have rules in school?

00:09.000 --> 00:12.000
Rules help keep things fair and safe.

00:14.000 --> 00:17.000
Countries also have rules and leaders to make decisions.

00:17.000 --> 00:19.000
And this is called governance.

00:20.000 --> 00:23.000
When countries work together to solve big problems,

00:23.000 --> 00:25.000
it's called global cooperation.

00:26.000 --> 00:30.000
Global cooperation is when countries work as a team to solve problems,

00:30.000 --> 00:33.000
like protecting the environment,

00:33.000 --> 00:35.000
helping during disasters,

00:35.000 --> 00:37.000
or fighting diseases.

00:37.000 --> 00:39.000
For example, in 2023,

00:39.000 --> 00:42.000
when earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria,

00:42.000 --> 00:45.000
countries like Saudi Arabia sent food,

00:46.000 --> 00:48.000
medical supplies, and rescue teams to help.

00:48.000 --> 00:51.000
This shows how teamwork saves lives.

00:52.000 --> 00:54.000
There are groups that help countries work together.

00:54.000 --> 00:57.000
These are called international organizations.

00:57.000 --> 00:59.000
Let's have a look at some of them.

01:00.000 --> 01:02.000
The United Nations, UN,

01:02.000 --> 01:05.000
helps keep peace and solve big problems.

01:06.000 --> 01:08.000
The World Health Organization, WHO,

01:08.000 --> 01:11.000
helps countries fight diseases and stay healthy.

01:13.000 --> 01:16.000
The World Trade Organization, WTO,

01:16.000 --> 01:18.000
makes sure countries trade fairly.

01:19.000 --> 01:23.000
UNICEF helps children stay safe, healthy, and get an education.

01:25.000 --> 01:27.000
Saudi Arabia is part of these groups

01:27.000 --> 01:30.000
and works with other countries to solve global challenges.

01:33.000 --> 01:37.000
Saudi Arabia helps the world by sharing resources like oil

01:37.000 --> 01:39.000
and learning from other countries.

01:39.000 --> 01:41.000
It also works to protect the environment

01:41.000 --> 01:44.000
by using clean energy, like solar power.

01:45.000 --> 01:47.000
During the COVID-19 pandemic,

01:47.000 --> 01:49.000
cooperation helped Saudi Arabia get vaccines

01:49.000 --> 01:52.000
and medical supplies to keep people safe.

01:52.000 --> 01:54.000
When countries work together,

01:54.000 --> 01:57.000
they make the world safer and stronger.

01:57.000 --> 02:00.000
Saudi Arabia shows how teamwork can solve problems,

02:00.000 --> 02:02.000
build trust, and create a better future.

02:02.000 --> 02:05.000
Remember, together we can do more.
