00:00.000 --> 00:20.200
Welcome to the tutorial of Tux Paint.

00:20.200 --> 00:25.040
We are going to have a look at the basics of Tux Paint, which are painting, erasing,

00:25.040 --> 00:28.400
using the fill function, and saving your picture.

00:28.400 --> 00:31.440
Start off by painting a symbol, a circle.

00:31.440 --> 00:33.720
Let's say I do not like this picture.

00:33.720 --> 00:37.120
I can now erase this by finding the Eraser button.

00:37.120 --> 00:40.680
Click this once and you can erase your drawing.

00:40.680 --> 00:42.280
Let's go back to Paint.

00:42.280 --> 00:49.360
You will see that on the right hand side of your screen, there are many different brushes.

00:49.360 --> 00:53.800
Choose any of these brushes and change the color at the bottom of your screen.

00:53.800 --> 01:00.200
This works on both computers and interactive whiteboards.

01:00.200 --> 01:03.600
Let's erase this once more.

01:03.600 --> 01:09.520
Next, I would like to have a look at the fill function.

01:09.520 --> 01:13.440
The fill function is very useful to create a background color.

01:13.440 --> 01:16.280
Choose any of the available colors.

01:16.280 --> 01:18.400
You now have a colorful background.

01:18.400 --> 01:20.680
Go back to Paint.

01:51.320 --> 01:53.680
Now I would like to save this picture.

01:53.680 --> 01:56.440
Before doing so, I'm going to add my name to it.

01:56.440 --> 01:59.360
I can use text or label.

01:59.360 --> 02:02.040
Name.

02:02.040 --> 02:06.520
Now I can change the font.

02:06.520 --> 02:08.000
I like this font.

02:08.000 --> 02:11.120
To save, I simply click Save.

02:11.120 --> 02:12.040
And that's all.

02:12.040 --> 02:17.040
The image is now saved into the Tux Paint folder.
