Now that you've seen both the teacher and student views, let's customize the course 01:22.960 --> 01:28.960 by learning how to hide and show an activity. To hide and show an activity, let's first switch back 01:28.960 --> 01:34.960 to the teacher's view. Click the three dot menu icon next to the Digital Foundations, your flipbook 01:34.960 --> 01:42.080 mastery check activity. Select Hide from the drop-down menu to hide this activity from students. Notice how 01:42.080 --> 01:47.920 the activity now displays a hidden from students tag indicating it's no longer visible to learners. 01:48.480 --> 01:53.920 Let's switch to the student view to verify that the Flipbook mastery check activity has been 01:53.920 --> 01:58.800 completely removed from their course page. We'll switch back to the teacher view to show how to make 01:58.800 --> 02:06.080 the activity visible again. Click the three dot menu icon for the hidden activity once more. 02:06.080 --> 02:12.480 This time, select Show to make the activity visible to students again. The hidden from students tag 02:12.480 --> 02:17.280 has been removed, meaning the activity is now visible. Switch back to the student view to 02:17.280 --> 02:22.800 confirm that the Flipbook mastery check activity has reappeared in the course. You now know how to 02:22.800 --> 02:28.160 hide and show activities to control what students can see. Let's go to the next step, which is to 02:28.160 --> 02:33.440 reorder an activity within your course section. To reorder an activity, switch back to the teacher's 02:33.440 --> 02:39.040 view. Simply drag the activity you want to move and drop it in the new position. Here, we're moving 02:39.040 --> 02:44.080 the Flipbook mastery check above the Digital Foundations activity. Let's check the student view 02:44.080 --> 02:50.160 again to confirm the activities now appear in their new order. You can now reorder activities within 02:50.160 --> 02:55.840 a section to match your teaching sequence. Let's go to the next step, which is to move an activity 02:55.840 --> 03:01.120 between sections. To move an activity between sections, we'll return to the teacher's view first. 03:01.120 --> 03:07.440 Click and drag this Digital Foundations, your Flipbook mastery. Check activity down into the 03:07.440 --> 03:13.120 glossary Digital Foundations section below. Let's check the student view to see this change in 03:13.120 --> 03:21.520 action. Click Glossary Digital Foundations from the course menu to see where the activity moved. 03:21.520 --> 03:26.880 The Flipbook mastery check now appears in the Glossary section instead of the Flipbook section. 03:26.880 --> 03:31.840 Let's switch back to the teacher's view to move it back to its original location. Drag the Digital 03:31.840 --> 03:37.120 Foundations, your Flipbook mastery check activity from the Glossary section back up to the Digital 03:37.120 --> 03:42.880 Foundation, Flipbook section, where it belongs. You have successfully moved the activity to its 03:42.880 --> 03:48.080 new section. Let's go to next step, which is to delete an activity from your course. 03:49.440 --> 03:55.200 To delete an activity, click the 3.menu icon for the activity you want to remove. Select 03:55.200 --> 04:00.400 Delete from the drop-down menu. Confirm the deletion by clicking Yes on the pop-up. 04:00.400 --> 04:04.800 The activity is now permanently removed from your course. Let's switch to the student view 04:04.800 --> 04:10.480 to verify the activity has been deleted. Notice how the section refreshes and the activity is 04:10.480 --> 04:14.320 no longer visible. Click on the course section in the menu to double check. 04:15.200 --> 04:20.320 The activity is completely gone from this section as well. Confirming the deletion was successful. 04:20.320 --> 04:26.240 Head back to the dashboard to wrap up. The student dashboard loads, and our course customization is 04:26.240 --> 04:31.760 complete.
