00:00.000 --> 00:11.680
Hi friends, we're going to learn that the United Arab Emirates was not always one country.

00:11.680 --> 00:16.400
People lived in different Emirates, but two brave heroes helped unite them.

00:16.400 --> 00:23.320
Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum.

00:23.320 --> 00:27.440
Sheikh Zayed was a strong and wise leader from Abu Dhabi.

00:27.440 --> 00:31.280
Sheikh Rashid was a kind and visionary leader from Dubai.

00:31.280 --> 00:38.080
They worked together to bring all the Emirates together and create one big happy country.

00:38.080 --> 00:42.360
A good leader is brave, kind, and helps others.

00:42.360 --> 00:46.480
Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid were both very brave.

00:46.480 --> 00:51.800
They made smart choices that helped everyone live in peace.

00:51.800 --> 00:57.720
Just like Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid were heroes for the UAE, you can be a hero too.

00:57.720 --> 01:02.240
At school or at home, you can be brave, kind, and help others.

01:02.240 --> 01:06.800
Being a leader means taking care of people, just like our founding leaders.

01:06.800 --> 01:11.040
Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid were two of the UAE's greatest heroes.

01:11.040 --> 01:14.760
Their courage and leadership made the country strong and peaceful.

01:14.760 --> 01:18.200
Now, it's your turn to be a hero in your own way.
